Police came from as far as Timmins and NorthBay...

The west side of University was packed with police from College all the way to Dundas...

Thousands of police lined up on University Avenue Tuesday morning in preparation for the processional to Sgt. Ryan Russell’s funeral.

Sudbury adopts 10 digit dialing today. The scan above is from a Sudbury and area phone book circa 1989 when some places still had 3 digit dialing. Thanks to David Easton and his phone book collection for the scan. Look how far we’ve come in the last 22 years.

I was disappointed to learn that we missed the Glühwein (a German spiced wine that is served hot).

Tonya and I visited the European Christmas market that was held at the distillery district over the holidays.
